A case is a computers home
Intro
Here we are today to talk to Mr. Case about who is "cool"...(ok...not hot actually), and who's not (not warm that is).
Purpose
Hello Mr. Case..."klik klik...hiss"...How are you?..."mmmmmmmmmm"...Ok well Mr. case just told you alot and you weren't listening right. His klik klik meant that he contains a hard drive and the hissing noise is the fan cooling the CPU. The mmmmm sound is the CDROM spinning. The case is here to hold everything and the bigger the merrier I always say. When your out getting a new case look for BIG, mid to full tower cases and always make sure there are AT LEAST four 5.25'' slots for things like CDROMS, DVD players, CD burners and Zip drives to go in. Just having those four would have filled the whole case up but most people don't have to worry about things like that becaues of CASH issues...(I have many myself). As far as AT and ATX and so on goes, most people have ATX, that means upright and AT means horizontal or desktop cases. Dont play with server cases because some will be rack mount or other really crappy issues that I can not hate enough already. If you are a soon to be or already are an overclocker then get a full tower no matter what. With a full tower you can put alot of crap inside and it helps keep the cpu cool also for there is more air to heat up because of the higher space.
Oh where, oh where?
Below are some of my favorite sites for buying cases and most have pretty good costs also. For a full tower, pay about $50, and for mid size, $30 to $45. If you get cheap and buy a mini-tower (God forbid) the pay $25 to $40.
